1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Olive Arabic website and waitlist, operated by ScopeWise Advisory Pty Ltd ABN 62 698 148 435 trading as Olive Arabic ("Olive Arabic", "we", "us"). By using this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to join the waitlist. By signing up, you confirm that the email address you provide is yours and that the information you give is accurate.

3. The waitlist and early access

  • Joining the waitlist registers your interest in Olive Arabic. It does not create any obligation on us to provide the app, early access, or any particular feature, price or launch date.
  • Early-access places, timing and any launch offers are at our discretion and may change.
  • We may contact you by email about the waitlist, early access and launch.

4. Referral program

Joining the waitlist and using any referral link does not currently guarantee a change to your position, priority access, or any reward. After you sign up, the page may show a shareable referral link, but referral counting, queue movement and rewards are not currently implemented for the public waitlist. We may introduce a referral or queue-priority feature in future. If we do, you agree to use it fairly, we may adjust queue positions, withdraw rewards, or remove participants who use fake signups, spam, or other abuse, and any referral rewards would have no cash value and could change or end at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service, scraping content, submitting false information, or using the site unlawfully.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, the "Olive Arabic" name and brand, lesson previews, and videos, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our permission, except as allowed by law.

7. Third-party links and content

The site may link to third-party content (for example our TikTok or Instagram). We are not responsible for third-party sites or their content, and their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

8. Pre-launch disclaimer and no warranties

The website and waitlist are provided "as is" and "as available". Olive Arabic is a pre-launch product. Features, content and descriptions on this site are indicative and may change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the site or the future app.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 The website and waitlist are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that they will always be available, secure or error-free, or that any particular feature, position in the waitlist or referral benefit will be offered.

9.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss that is not a reasonably foreseeable result of our failing to comply with these terms or to use reasonable care and skill.

9.3 Because the website and waitlist are free, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable, in connection with your use of or inability to use the website or waitlist, for: (a) loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or opportunity; (b) loss or corruption of data; or (c) any other loss that is indirect or consequential.

9.4 We do not exclude or limit liability for our fraud, wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that apply to you.

9.5 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If you live in the EU, UK or another country with mandatory consumer protection laws, these terms do not reduce the protections you have under those laws, and any exclusions or limits in this section apply only to the extent those laws allow.

10. Changes

We may update the website, the waitlist and these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
